2. This website
Hosting and server logs
The website is provided through GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, GitHub processes the connection data that is technically required, in particular your IP address, the page requested and the time of the request. This data is needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. The data may be transferred to the United States. GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR. GitHub determines how long the server logs are stored.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and does not embed content from external providers.
The chosen appearance (light or dark) is stored locally in the browser and is not transmitted.
3. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us, we process the details you give us, that is your name, contact details and the content of your message, in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is answering your request. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed, unless a statutory retention duty applies.
4. The OfflineHandwerk app
Local storage
Everything you record in the app, for example calculations, customer, employee and business data and your company logo, is stored only locally on your device. We have no access to it and do not transfer it to our own servers. You yourself are responsible for the lawfulness of processing this data.
The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting services and creates no usage profiles.
Permissions
The app accesses your photo library only when you select a company logo. The app does not access the camera or the microphone.
In-app purchases
Purchases are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google are independently responsible for processing the payment data.
To manage and unlock purchased features we use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA). For that purpose RevenueCat processes a pseudonymous user identifier together with purchase and transaction data. Content from the app, such as calculations or customer data, is not transmitted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, because the processing is necessary in order to provide you with the purchased features. For the transfer to the United States, RevenueCat's contract terms provide for EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
Sharing and export
If you share, print or email PDFs or backups, the app hands the file to the app or service you select. We do not receive this data.
Retention
Local data stays on your device until you delete it, reset the app or uninstall it.
5. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz.
