OfflineHandwerk

General Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to use of the OfflineHandwerk app. That includes the Android version offered through Google Play in the Business category, initially distributed in Germany, and the version that runs locally in the browser (web-local).

These terms apply to free use and to paid Premium access. Provisions that apply only to Premium say so expressly.

Anyone who uses the app for a commercial or self-employed professional activity is a trader (Unternehmer) to the extent the law classifies them as such. Provisions that protect only consumers apply only if the user is a consumer.

The provider is Jan Siems, Hintergasse 28, 67308 Bubenheim, Germany.

Further provider information is in the legal notice.

OfflineHandwerk is an application that works offline on the device. Content you enter in the app stays on your device. The provider does not upload this content to the provider's own servers and has no access to it. The app does not create usage profiles of your work and does not analyse your jobs.

The free version can be used without a time limit. It is limited in individual functions. The limits that apply are stated on the product page.

Premium is the paid access. It is unlocked through the entitlement offlinehandwerk_premium. No free trial period is granted.

The app helps with calculations and with creating documents. It does not replace a tax or legal review. You remain responsible for the tax and legal accuracy of the quotes, invoices and other documents you create with the app. This paragraph only describes the scope of the service. It limits neither the liability in the Liability section nor the statutory rights in respect of defects.

Premium currently costs €9.99 per month or €109.99 per year, in each case including statutory value-added tax, as the price is shown in the Google Play Store. The price displayed in the Google Play Store immediately before the contract is concluded is decisive.

The contract is concluded and payment is made exclusively through Google Play Billing. Unlocking the paid access is arranged technically through RevenueCat. RevenueCat is not the payee. Premium cannot be purchased on this website.

The subscription is concluded for the billing period you choose in Google Play: one month or one year. An initial commitment of more than two years is not agreed.

If you do not cancel, the subscription does not renew for a new fixed term. It continues for an indefinite period and continues to be charged for the billing period you chose. You may cancel the subscription as so extended at any time. The notice period is one month at most. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid, unless Google Play provides an earlier date for your contract.

You declare the cancellation in Google Play's subscription management. A message to the provider does not replace that cancellation. Uninstalling the app does not end the subscription.

If you are a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, the following instructions on withdrawal apply. They reproduce the official model, completed for a contract for digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium and for a service contract. Notes in the model on returning goods are omitted, because no goods are supplied.

Instructions on withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Jan Siems, Hintergasse 28, 67308 Bubenheim, Germany, phone: +49 176 84328001, email: info@offlinehandwerk.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this, but it is not required.

To meet the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall repay to you all payments we have received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs arising because you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the communication of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees because of this repayment.

If you requested that the services should begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time at which you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal in respect of this contract, compared with the full extent of the services provided for in the contract.

Early expiry

For digital content that is not provided on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may expire as soon as performance of the contract begins. For a contract that obliges you to pay a price, this requires that the provider has begun performance, that you have expressly agreed beforehand that performance begins before the end of the withdrawal period, that you have confirmed your knowledge that your right of withdrawal expires as a result, and that the provider has made available to you a confirmation under § 312f BGB (§ 356 Absatz 6 BGB). The confirmation must record that, before performance, you expressly agreed and confirmed your knowledge of the loss of the right of withdrawal (§ 312f Absatz 3 BGB).

For a digital service, the right of withdrawal expires upon complete performance if, before the start, you expressly agreed that performance begins before the end of the withdrawal period, and you confirmed your knowledge that the right of withdrawal expires upon complete performance (§ 356 Absatz 5 Nummer 2 BGB).

These terms replace neither the express consent nor the confirmation of knowledge. As long as both are not given, the period of fourteen days remains.

Payments processed through Google Play are refunded through Google Play. Withdrawal towards the provider does not cancel the subscription in Google Play.

The provider grants you a simple right to use the app. It is non-transferable and non-exclusive and limited to use for your own business (§ 31 Absatz 1 und Absatz 2 des Urheberrechtsgesetzes). Transfer of the app or a sublicence is not granted.

Data that you store locally in the app remains with you. The provider acquires no right in it. This data is not stored on a server of the provider. You yourself are responsible for backup copies and exports.

The provider has unlimited liability for damage arising from injury to life, body or health if it is based on a negligent breach of duty by the provider or on an intentional or negligent breach of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent.

The provider likewise has unlimited liability for other damage arising from a grossly negligent breach of duty by the provider or from an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent.

Liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected.

Liability for breach of essential contractual duties also remains unlimited. Essential contractual duties are the provision of the described functions of the app and the unlocking of paid Premium access for the period paid for.

Otherwise, liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty is excluded.

Statutory rights in respect of defects under contracts for digital products remain unaffected. Limitation periods for these rights are not shortened.

How personal data is processed is set out in the privacy notice.

The version of these terms published at this address when the contract is concluded applies to a contract.

An amended version applies to a current subscription only from the next billing period. This requires that the provider publishes it at this address and points out the change in the app or on this page before that period begins. If you do not agree, you can cancel the subscription in Google Play until the end of the current billing period. Silence alone is not acceptance of the change.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence (Artikel 6 Absatz 2 der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 593/2008).

I am not willing and not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer conciliation body.

The former European online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025. No link to that platform is provided.

If individual provisions of these terms have not become part of the contract or are invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective. The statutory provisions take the place of the affected provision (§ 306 BGB).

Direct questions about these terms to the contact details named in the Provider section. The same details are in the legal notice.
